CEDARE and FES launch a series of workshops titled the “Advent of Micromobility”

CEDARE as UNEP’s collaborating Centre is assisting The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in extending support to the Government of Botswana in environmental institutional strengthening for national reporting. The overall objective is to develop an interactive web-based module for the State of Environment Report to enable easy access by decision makers and facilitate easy update for timely dissemination of information, including emerging issues. The portal will also support the preparation of a scenario chapter based on the narratives in the thematic chapters to inform policy outlook.
CEDARE in its capacity as UNEP’s collaborating Centre assisted UNEP in the development of Portal for the Integrated Approach Programme IAP-FS that seeks to tackle major drivers of environmental degradation by advancing a holistic approach to enhancing agricultural productivity in smallholder systems, where food security is directly tied to agriculture and – in the long term – to the health of the ecosystem of which the farm is a part. A holistic approach will also help ensure that gender and nutrition are mainstreamed throughout the Program as important pieces to address the food security challenge.
