Dr. Khaled AbuZeid, water expert and Regional Water Resources Programme Manager, has participated in the Union for the Mediterranean 6th Meeting of the Water Expert Group, 19^th-22^nd December 2016, Brussels, Belgium.

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfMS) announced the Sixth Meeting of the Water Expert Group (WEG), took place on 20^th December 2016 in Brussels. The Meeting was of paramount importance as a step towards the UfM Ministerial Meeting on Water which is to be held in Malta in 2017. The 6^th WEG Meeting would contribute to the consultation towards a draft ministerial declaration, integrating and expanding contents of the UfM regional water agenda.
