Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries organized its national Capacity Building Workshop during the period from December 23rd to 25th, 2013. It was attended by the Project’s Regional Coordinator, the Regional M&E Specialist, Tunisia’s AMCOW TAC member, the national coordination team, National M&E Specialist, and the National Task Force members and other stakeholders.
The workshop objective was to present the regionally agreed upon set of 15 water sector indicators and to explain how they are calculated enabling the NAMCOW countries to comprehensively and systematically assess the SOW. The national workshop was also a great opportunity to widely discuss the procedure required for indicators’ calculation method in details as far as the Tunisian case is concerned, which will eventually be a routine practice by the M&E unit in the Ministry of Agriculture along with the national task force members in other water-related ministries and institutions.
