CEDARE Regional Water Director, Khaled AbuZeid, attends the First Meeting of the High Level Joint Committee of Agriculture and Water in the Arab Region during the period of 23-24 of October, 2019 during the 2nd Cairo Water Week.
The event was convened by LAS in collaboration with ministry of water resources and irrigation, FAO, ESCWA and AOAD. The meeting had adopted the Cairo deceleration and was help along the land and water days regional conference on 4 April 2019. The thematic focus of the first meeting was “Mechanisms for sustainable water resources allocation for the agricultural sector in the Arab Region”.
