Dr. Khaled AbuZeid, Water Expert and Senior Regional Water Resources Programme Manager, CEDARE has participated in the event of the BioVision Alexandria (BVA) Organizing Committee regarding their ninth biennial conference BVA 2018. The BVA 2018 Conference took place at the Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), Egypt, from 20 to 22 April 2018.

Dr. AbuZeid delivered a presentation on “Water Prospects in the 21st Century Arab Region Perspectives on the Water SDG 6″

The theme of BVA 2018 is “New Life Sciences: Towards SDGs”. The conference highlighted the important role science plays with regard to achieving SDGs. More insights on the science-based-decisions-making was introduced, and how this affects the developing world. Furthermore, within the framework of BVA 2018, the first conference was launched on “Robotics and Bio-robotics in Life Sciences” in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
